Kelly ~ Books|Events|Theatre|Blogger
My name is Kelly and I am the founder of Love Books Group Blog. I live on the outskirts of Edinburgh with my three cats Tilly, Pawkey, and Poppet. My blog came to fruition in January, I needed an outlet to talk about all things books. I thoroughly enjoy the world it has let me become a part of. Getting to meet new people, authors, readers and fellow bloggers have been marvellous. It is now an everyday part of my life and I would be lost without it. I have almost hit 45,000 views and that really fills my heart with so much love. I love social media and connecting with others. You can find me on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook. My favourite book is The Book Thief by Mark Zusak, it’s a very grounding book. When life gets overwhelmed with nonsense, reading a couple of chapters of it really silences the noise and you remember what is important.
I encourage readers and authors to follow the blogs they enjoy. I think it’s very important. Plus it really helps if you share, like and comment. The more people who read and enjoy my posts makes all the effort and time I put into each post worth it.
I am a big supporter of other bloggers, we are all a unique team and we only rise and grow by lifting others.
Don’t hesitate to use the contact form, if you think my blog is a good fit for you. All reviews are FREE.
At times I have some extra help with the great minds of J A Warnock, Kim Livingston and Sam Baines. All three add individual and varied opinions. Bringing a vast and interesting diversity to the blog.
J A Warnock
A perpetual student, accountant and fitness instructor Julie Anne Warnock joined the team at Love Books Group because she wasn’t quite busy enough already. She has studied historical literature, English, drama, accountancy, economics, planetary science, psychology, and criminology; she admits to reading just about anything put in front of her. She lives in the Scottish Borders with Eliza, Martha and Beryl (the sheep) her nearest neighbours.
Kimberly Livingston is an avid reader, writer, and a firm believer in Happily Ever Afters. Born and raised on the stuff of Disney, she now lives in Colorado with her own Prince Charming. Kim has written three romance novels.
Hi everyone, my lovely new friend Kelly has asked me to be a guest blogger for her occasionally so I am just introducing myself. I am a 57 ye57-year-old has always loved reading from an early age, and growing up in a small house and sharing a bedroom with 2 other sisters, reading was my quiet time away from from everyone else where I could lie on my bed and disappear into another world. Now that I have retired from Lloyds Bank on ill health grounds (I have MS) I have again found my bed, book and cup of tea to be my retreat and saviour. My reading genres have varied over the years, and I am currently enjoying psychological mystery thrillers, although at this time of year I love Christmas books and on holiday I tend to read what I call Fluffy books (light reading that you can doze off to on a sunlounger). I live in Bristol with my husband and have 2 grown up children who have also inherited my love of reading.
